Four forms on this site ask for personal data. The free digital presence audit asks for your name, email, phone number and website address. A free-trial request, a quote request and a general enquiry each ask for your name, email and phone number, plus the message you write. If you subscribe to a plan, our payment provider collects your billing details on its own checkout page and tells us your name, email, phone number and what you paid. We also record your IP address for up to a minute when you submit a form, purely to stop the same address flooding it; it is never stored beyond that or attached to your enquiry. Both forms carry a hidden field that only automated bots fill in — if it is filled, the submission is discarded. Google Analytics separately collects anonymous usage statistics that do not identify you.
To do the thing you asked for: run the audit and send you the result, set up a trial, prepare a quote, answer your enquiry, or deliver and support a plan you have paid for. The IP address exists only to prevent form abuse. We do not add you to a marketing list without asking, and we do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for their own marketing.
Form submissions are delivered to a private Torus channel on Telegram, operated by Telegram Messenger Inc, readable only by Torus staff. Payments are handled by HitPay: you enter your card or banking details on HitPay's own page, not ours, so Torus never sees or stores them — HitPay then confirms the transaction to us with your name, email, phone number and the amount. HitPay is based in Singapore, so paying for a plan means your payment details are processed outside Malaysia. Google Analytics data is processed by Google. Everything travels over an encrypted connection.
Enquiries and audit requests stay in that private Torus channel for as long as they are useful for the purpose you sent them for, and we delete them when they are not. We do not run a customer database on this website. If you become a customer, we keep what we need for as long as we provide the service and for as long as Malaysian law requires afterwards. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time and we will.
Under the PDPA you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent to us using it. Email edwin@toruslabs.my and we will action it within a reasonable period at no charge.
We use Google Analytics cookies to understand which pages people read. There are no advertising cookies on this site and we do not track you across other websites. Your language preference is stored in your browser's local storage, not a cookie, so the site opens in the language you last chose. You can block or clear both through your browser settings, or install Google's own opt-out add-on; the site keeps working without them.
The whole site is served over HTTPS, so anything you submit is encrypted in transit. Card and banking details are entered on HitPay's systems and never touch ours. Payment confirmations from HitPay are checked against a cryptographic signature before we accept them, so a forged one is rejected.
Torus sells business services and this site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
